Truly Tequila Sodas

Truly Hard Seltzer is going at full throttle in 2023. The year has barely hit its halfway point, and the hard seltzer and vodka soda brand from the Boston Beer Company has already released two limited-edition packs, the Wonderworld Pack and the Red, White and TRU Pack, and come out with seven new vodka soda flavors. Along with that, they have rebranded all of their packaging and promised another limited-edition pack before the end of this year. We honestly thought that after all of that, Truly would stomp on the brakes. But no, an executive from the Boston Beer Company just leaked another huge announcement for the brand on Linkedin. There is going to be a new product line from Truly Hard Seltzer. Truly Tequila Sodas are about to hit shelves in select states.

“We’re taking the good vibes to new heights with Truly Tequila Soda,” the Truly Tequila Soda Spicy Watermelon packaging reads. “This refreshing blend of real fruit juice, sparkling water, and premium Tequila Blanco, sourced from a family-owned distillery in Mexico, will excite your taste buds and go down smooth. Enjoy.”

Four Exciting Flavors

The new line of Truly Tequila Sodas will be available in four flavors, including Grapefruit, Lime, Pineapple Guava, and Spicy Watermelon. The ingredients include Tequila Blanco, real fruit juice from concentrate, and natural flavors. At only 110 calories and 2 grams of sugar, these drinks are a guilt-free indulgence. Similar to the majority of Truly products, these tequila sodas have an alcohol content of 5% ABV. Meaning one 12 oz can is roughly equivalent to a cocktail with one shot of tequila. So, these are a perfect choice if you’re looking for a tequila cocktail without a high level of calories and sugar.

Everything We Know

When will Truly Tequila Sodas hit the market? That would be July 3rd, 2023, just in time for your 4th of July festivities, but only in select markets (more on that later). From images leaked online, it appears as if the drinks will be available in single-flavor packs. However, this information has not been confirmed by Truly Hard Seltzer of the Boston Beer Company. What is confirmed (by the Linkedin leak) is that you’ll be able to buy these in flavor variety 8-packs of 12 ounce tall cans. Well, you’ll be able to buy them if you live in (or are visiting) Nevada, Los Angeles, San Diego, Minnesota, Delaware, or Rhode Island. Unfortunately, those are the only markets that are confirmed for the time being. Will Truly release these drinks nationwide? Only time will tell, but we are hopeful.
