Coco Cocktail Lemon Key Lime is Delicious from Start to Finish

Many people only know the key lime fruit from the famous key lime pie; however, key limes are a type of citrus fruit with many distinctions from the more commonly known lime. They are grown in Mexico and most other parts of central and south America. They have a tart taste that is not overly acidic. Another distinct feature of key lime is the strong aroma that is noticeably more aromatic than other lime types. Coco Cocktail combines this delicious (yet underrated) citrus fruit with lemon for a delicious hard seltzer combination. They also use coconut water and other natural ingredients to add flavor. The sweeteners are natural with only a small amount of sugar added. We heard good feedback about the Coco Cocktail Lemon Key Lime Hard Seltzer, so we decided to put it to the test.

A Solid Hard Seltzer That Delivers

When you crack open a can of Coco Cocktail Lemon Key Lime Hard Seltzer, you immediately smell a distinct lemon-lime aroma. You notice the deliciousness before you even take your first sip. There is also a clear appearance to the liquid that makes it perfect for pouring over ice in a pint glass. There is, however, not a lot of carbonation. If you prefer a bubbly experience, then the low carbonation may be a slight disappointment. However, we still enjoyed it and did not find the low carbonation to affect the flavor. From the moment you crack open the can, you are blasted with a delightful aroma of lemon and key lime. The flavor is consistent from the first sip to the last. The overall experience is great. There was never a time the flavor was bolder than we wanted.

Wine-Based Seltzer with Coconut Water

This hard seltzer is all-natural and charged with electrolytes. It is made using 70% coconut water. The alcohol-by-volume is 5%. This provides a nice buzz while still minimizing the alcohol taste. Coco Cocktail also uses OTS orange wine, lemon extract, key lime extract, grand fusion powder (organic fruit flavors such as orange, cranberry, blueberry, apple, strawberry, and shitake mushroom), and organic evaporated sugar. Lemon Key Lime Hard Seltzer contains 110 calories. There are 6 grams of carbs and sugar, which is on the higher side for hard seltzers. This offering is gluten-free. The lemon and key lime flavors are the strongest, but the coconut water adds a nice flavor as well.

If you enjoy coconut water and hard seltzer, then this is the combination you have been waiting for. We highly recommend this hard seltzer; it is true to form from start to finish. We suggest serving your Coco Cocktail Lemon Key Lime in a chilled pint glass. However, they are almost equally delicious straight out of the can as well.
