Lipton Hard Iced Tea is Available Now
Why are hard teas so popular right now? It’s simple. Nothing is better on a hot day than kicking back with a tall glass of hard iced tea. Hard iced teas come in a range of fruity flavors, often contain small to moderate amounts of caffeine, and offer a non-carbonated option for those who aren’t into fizzy seltzers. Hard Iced Tea has been growing in popularity for over two decades. However, the beverage category has seen a recent, unprecedented surge in demand. In fact, a hard tea market report by Fact.MR states that the hard tea market is seeing 25% growth and will likely reach $19 billion by 2032.
The top brands in the category include Twisted Tea, White Claw Iced Tea, and Arnold Palmer Spiked Half and Half. Well, as of today, there is one more popular brand on the market. FIFCO USA just released a brand new line of alcoholic drinks, Lipton Hard Iced Tea.
“Lipton Hard Iced Tea is what you want hard iced tea to taste like,” said Lisa Texido, Brand Director for Lipton Hard Iced Tea. “We created the recipe to make sure that the smooth, balanced flavor people love about Lipton iced tea really came through. I think people will be surprised that a hard iced tea can be this delicious – it’s a must-try.”
Four Fruity Flavors
Lipton Hard Iced Tea is available now in four flavors. In an emailed press release, the brand describes its Lemon Hard Iced Tea flavor as a “classic.” It goes on to say that the Lemon flavor is “tart” and “smooth.” Second, Lipton Hard Iced Tea offers Peach, which the brand calls “fruity.” The press release brags that this “hard iced tea stand(s) out in the crowd.” Third, the brand offers Strawberry. It describes this flavor as “a balanced blend of ripe strawberry flavor.” Along with these fruit flavors is a flavor with half iced tea and half lemonade named Half & Half. It is perfect for those looking for something a little less sweet.
Everything We Know
Lipton Hard Iced Tea is available in flavor-variety 12 packs and single flavor 24 oz tall cans (of Lemon and Peach). The bad news is that the drinks are only available at retailers in “select states.” These states are Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Arizona. The good news is that the drinks will be in over thirty states by the end of the year. These hard teas are not carbonated. They contain real Lipton brewed tea. Thus, the drinks do have naturally occurring caffeine. The drinks also contain natural flavors and a triple-filtered malt base. These hard teas have an alcohol content of 5% ABV, which is in line with Twisted Tea and White Claw Hard Teas. The drinks contain 175 calories, 18 grams of carbs, and 18 grams of sugar per can.
