Tinto Amorio White Wine Spritz

Tinto Amorio White Wine Spritz Tastes Like Lemon and Mint

A wine spritzer is a cocktail with wine and carbonation (usually via club soda) that is best served cold over ice. Wine spritzers are interesting alternatives to traditional glasses of wine. The alcohol-by-volume is usually less than white wine, making the wine spritzer a perfect choice for brunch or nights when you want to keep a clear head. Perhaps the best benefit, however, is the excellent addition of carbonation in a wine spritzer. Tinto Amorio Spritz White Wine Spritz captures the advantages of the wine spritzer experience in the convenience of a can. It offers a relatively low ABV of 4.5%. This white wine spritzer has gained attention as a trendy canned spritzer. Consequently, Seltzer Nation decided to test it out and leave our thoughts in this review.

Lemon and Mint Lead the Charge with This Wine Spritz

There is a lot to like about Tinto Amorio White Wine Spritz. Perhaps most notably, there is a strong taste of minty citrus. You can really taste the mix of lemon, mint, and white wine together. There is also excellent carbonation with every sip as well. The bubbly experience, combined with the nice flavor, makes for an excellent choice for sunny days at the pool or beach. However, we did feel as if the lemon was too sour at times. Consequently, there seemed to be an acidic aftertaste with every sip that made it a little harder to drink than it otherwise would be. There is also no doubt the flavor is enhanced largely by the amount of sugar that is in each can. In fact, there are 9 grams of sugar per can and 14 grams of carbohydrates in total. With that said, this is still an excellent wine spritzer, particularly for white wine lovers.

White Wine with Natural Flavors

Tinto Amorio makes its White Wine Spritz with carbonated water, white wine, cane sugar, lemon juice concentrate, natural flavors, and sodium citrate. This is higher in carbs and sugar than the average wine spritzer. Notably, there are 14 grams of carbs and 9 of sugar. There is a total of 110 calories per can. However, all cans are gluten-free. You can also expect less alcohol as well. With only 4.5% ABV, the Tinto Amorio Spritz White Wine Spritz provides a slight kick of alcohol but is relatively light overall. The branding is nice as well. These wine spritzers come in white and mint-colored cans.

Calling All White Wine Lovers

Tinto Amorio White Wine Spritz tastes authentic and captures the true essence of a great wine spritz. If you are searching for a white wine and seltzer combination (with an excellent level of carbonation), then this may be a great choice for you. However, it may not be the ideal choice of wine spritzer for everyone, particularly those who prefer low-carb, low-sugar beverages. Regarding the flavor, we found it very nice, albeit slightly sour, due to the lemon. We recommend trying this spritzer if you do not mind slightly more carbs (and sugar) than the average wine spritzer.
